Barbara K. Burton, MD, is an Attending Physician in the division of Genetics, Birth Defects & Metabolism at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and directs the Mucopolysaccharidosis/ Mucolipidosis (MPS/ML) Treatment Program. She is also a Professor of Pediatrics at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Fanny Zambrano is 47 years old and living with Morquio A syndrome. She was born and raised in Chicago, IL and now resides near Dallas/Fort Worth in Texas. She is proud of her Mexican and Ecuadorian roots. She is a strong advocate for herself and as she says, “a warrior who never gives up.”
